Our History
Asoblockchain Bolivia was born in 2017, with meetings initially organized in Cochabamba and then in La Paz by Gabriela Meléndez, called Beercoin, the motto was “A beer and Bitcoin“.
In a third meeting, Huáscar Miranda spoke about creating an association, and some inquiries and procedures were even initiated.

In 2018, led by Huáscar Miranda and Iván Mercado, we organized the largest event until that time, with more than 500 attendees at the Telecommunications Palace in La Paz, then at UMSA and UPEA, always explaining what Blockchain and cryptocurrencies were and how to avoid scams.
The first Bolivian project was promoted by Asoblockchain; the first token, Mundicoin, was presented by our late Grover Suntura with the support of Cristián Rivas and technically created by Huáscar Miranda. We organized the first event in Santa Cruz at UTEPSA, attracting more than 300 participants.
